not express an audit opinion on the viewgiven bythe accounts.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CHARITY AND PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES OF THE

ORGANISATION OF OUR CHARITY

Our charity name is CHRIST KINGDOM VICTORY CHURCH OF GOD (CKVCG).

We laid out the following as our objectives:

: Advancement of the Gospel. To teach the gospel and advance it to all nooks and cronies.

: As a ministry, we focus on the practicalities of the Christian life through our different community work, and world mission that we are involved in for the prevention or relief of poverty.

: To encourage a prayerful life and consistency in the devotional life and spiritual growth of our members.

: To work in cooperation with other organisations and support events for the advancement of education, especially for the less privileged.

To achieve these, we are partnering with other charities in Edinburgh and the wider UK for the year under review.

As indicated in our Reports, we have helped or sponsored some other charities such as — World Vision, UK Capability Scotland, encourage and support the homeless, and others as part of some of our activities during the year.

Structure, Governance, and Management

Our charity is governed by its Constitution of the Charity, and we ensure that all provisions therein are adhered to strictly.

Trustee Recruitment and Appointment

All the existing trustees were re-elected and chose to stay. Due process will be followed if there is a need for additional or change of trustee members.

However, our membership is open to everyone, without no discrimination, in terms of sex, race, etc.

WORSHIP/MEETINGVENUE

Our current place of Worship/Meeting on our Sunday Services/Meetings is still yy a een. VVe hope to have our building soon to serve as our Permanent Place of Worship/Meetings.

Achievementsand Performance

During the year, the Charity continued to engage in activities that have a positive impact on the community. Some of these are outlined below:

We support the community by providing some basic needs during the festive periods such as Christmas, Easter and some other Christian festive activities.

The charity continued to ensure that its objectives were strictly adhered to and followed vigorously. We continued to pursue the objectives of furthering the Christian faith and not discriminating against members or anyone in the Community irrespective of their race, background, sex, or faith.

During the year under review, we had a marriage seminar event, Joint Christmas Carol in the Community, we ministered in songs, and we also gave out Christmas gifts to other Charities, and others less privileged in the community. The children and youth learnt to play the piano and drums, and they did sports, quizzes, Easter egg competitions and games. We still hold regular Sunday meetings to encourage our members on how to be useful to the community they live. We also continued to share the Christian faith and help people develop biblical principles that build up their selfesteem and help them stay out of criminality and other social vices. This we think, will enable them to fulfil their purpose in life and live a happy and productive life.

Our charity continued to maintain our partnership with some churches in our neighbourhood during the year and we held a few joint fellowship meetings together most especially Christmas Service.

FINANCIAL RESULTS OF THE YEAR

The statement of the financial activities shows an income of £3928 and a total expenditure of £3560. Therefore, the Income over expenditure for the year is £368. The Trustee noted, as usual, that the bulk of the expenditure is on Hall Rental. Therefore, the belief of the Trustee that the Charity will put effort vigorously into the permanent place of worship or talk to our landlord and find a way to reduce the charge per hour in order to reduce the cost to the barest minimum for the outlay on rent in the next financial year for more savings and reserve in the next financial year.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENT

We will continue to pursue our core objectives together with our involvement with the community vigorously. Also, we will continue in organising training for our members in areas where we need to raise our skills, we will continue to organise more seminars and workshops for leadership training, and capacity building through in-house training of our workers. We will always take advantage of any initiatives from other relevant agencies or similar faith beliefs in the UK.

Also, the charity is considering an alternative way of generating more income and possibly changing the name for generating more income for its members for the survival of the charity. This therefore depends on the approval of the Board of Trustees at its next meeting.

To this end, the Trustees consider that this present level of funding is adequate to support the continuation of the Charity/Church objectives for now.

RISK MANAGEMENT

The Board of Trustees constantly reviews the major risks, which the charity faces regularly. The Board of Trustees has examined the major strategic, business, and operational risks which the charity faces and confirms that adequate systems have been put in place to safeguard or minimise any risk in the future.

VOLUNTEERS/WORKERS

The church workers are mainly volunteering who offer their services for free on a parttime basis and mostly in the evenings as well as during the weekends. These workers oversee the various departments and ministries functioning within our charity. We are greatly indebted to these volunteers for their commitment and support.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CHARITY AND PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES OF THE ORGANISATION OF OUR CHARITY

Our charity name is CHRIST KINGDOM VICTORY CHURCH OF GOD (CKVCG).

We laid out the following as our objectives:

: Advancement of the Gospel. To teach the gospel and advance it to all nooks and cronies.

2 As a ministry, we focus on the practicalities of the Christian life through our different community work, and world mission that we are involved in for the prevention or relief of poverty.

: To encourage a prayerful life and consistency in the devotional life and spiritual growth of our members. . To work in cooperation with other organisations and support events for the advancement of education, especially for the less privileged.

Our charity is governed by its Constitution of the Charity, and we ensure that all provisions therein are adheredto strictly.

Trustee Recruitment and Appointment

All the existing trustees were re-elected and chose to stay. Due process will be followed if there is a need for additional or change of trustee members.

However, our membership is open to everyone, without no discrimination, in terms of sex, race, etc.

WORSHIP/MEETING VENUE

Our current place of Worship/Meeting on our Sunday Services/Meetings is still P| V2 hope to have our building soon to serve as our Permanent Place of Worship/Meetings.

Achievements and Performance
