**What the charity does:** The Association is set up to provide opportunities for adult amateur and professional wind band players, of all standards, to make music with other like-minded musicians from across the UK. The Associations’ main activities in relation to its purpose include an annual festival weekend, several one-day music making sessions and workshops. In addition, the Association maintains a Facebook social media presence, encouraging the sharing of news, information and support for Community Wind Bands.

**Objectives:** The objects of the Society shall be:   (1) to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals.
