To create a legally constituted group, the Lunan Bay Communities Partnership (LBCP), to represent the interests of the residents of Lunan Bay and environs and to protect and improve the local environment and infrastructure of Lunan Bay. The Group will also to engage with and promote the interests of visitors and of non resident individuals with an affiliation with Lunan Bay and its environs. To safely and sustainably promote, preserve and improve the natural, historic, built and human environments of Lunan Bay and its immediate environs. This will include:
Objectives: 4 The Organisation will promote, advance and further the following aims and objectives: 4.1 the advancement of citizenship and community development. and 4.2 the advancement of environmental protection and improvement. 4.3 the purposes for which the Organisation is established will be furthered by the Organisation through: 4.3.1 Protecting and promoting the historic and coastal marine heritage of Lunan Bay and environs 4.3.2 Protecting the natural heritage of Lunan Bay and environs 4.3.3 Protecting and enhancing the natural and built environment of Lunan Bay and environs 4.3.4 Promoting the needs and interests of Lunan Bay Communities Partnership residents. 4.3.5 Developing and maintaining sustainable local communities 4.3.6 Protecting and promoting wildlife and native plant colonisation of the area, and promoting responsible management of the coastal marine habitat of Lunan Bay and environs. 4.3.7 Promoting and managing responsible visitor access, as defined in the Scottish Land Access Regulations 2003, to the beach, dune area, estuary and hinterland.
