Structure, governance and management

Type of governing document The Trust was set up by the Trustees and recognised as a Scottish Charity with effect from 12 February 2021. The Trust is administered in accordance with the Trust Deed. Trustee recruitment and appointment | The Trust Deed requires that the number of Trustees shall not be less than three. The Trustees are entitled to appoint anyone as a Trustee by way of resolution passed, recorded and signed by the Trustees. A Trustee may retire by giving notice to the Trust Secretary. Trustees retain the power in their absolute discretion to remove any Trustee by way of resolution passed at a meeting by virtue of a majority of two thirds of Trustees so present. A majority of Trustees shall form a quorum. Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements SportsChallenge Trust undertook its fourth annual charitable quiz event in of the charity during the financial September 2024. Gross income receivable from the event amounted to period £224.1k and, after costs arising of £87.1k, a surplus of £137k was derived. Of this, a total of £135.1k was donated to local charitable organisations, leaving a modest surplus of £1.9k to be carried forward to future events.

The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance
with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) 2005 Act and the
Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended). The charity trustees

My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the 2006 Accounts
Regulations. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the
