Trustees’ Welcome
This year has been an inspiring period of growth and community spirit at Tullibody Community Garden. From increased volunteering to community workshops, sustainability projects and enhanced growing spaces, we continue to focus on wellbeing, inclusion, and togetherness.
About Us
This year we updated our Mission and Values. Tullibody Community Gardens Mission is to cultivate health, social connection, skills, fairness and climate action in our local and wider communities. We do this through gardening and cooking good food; bring people together; sharing knowledge; tackling disadvantage; acting for the environment; and partnership and outreach working.

Our committed and enthusiastic volunteers contributed 2,905 hours and £16,000 social value. Weekly volunteering includes planting, watering, composting, maintenance, as well as governance, funding, and management activities. We are supported by our sessional Community Gardener and Community Cook.

Highlights, Environmental Impact, Governance & Finance
- Secured a new 25-year lease from Clackmannanshire Council
Expanded growing areas and improved soil health and drainage.

28 successful community events and children’s activities, engaging with 671 community members

Partnerships widened and strengthened with local organisations

Biodiversity improved through pollinator planting and wildlife areas

Sustainability enhanced with improved composting and reduced food miles
Governance & Volunteering
Trustees oversee planning, safety, budgeting, and development. Volunteers contribute weekly with volunteer coordinator guidance. Governance policies reviewed and updated annually
Completed all requirements to comply with the new Disclosure Scotland Act for 2025.
