Charity Name – Deveronvale Community Football Club Charity Number – SC050709 Address – Current Trustees

Constitution Deveronvale Community Football Club is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), registered in January 2021. The Club was previously an unincorporated association but changed its legal form to a SCIO on 20 January 2021, when the unincorporated association transferred its assets to the SCIO.

Appointment of Trustees Only full members of Deveronvale Community Football Club shall be eligible to serve as Trustees. Trustees will be nominated and subsequently elected by a majority vote of those present and voting, at each AGM. The maximum number of Trustees will be 11 and the minimum number 4. The Trustees will be collectively referred to as "The Board". Charitable Purpose • The Club will operate as a non-profit distributing charity whose principal objectives are:

Activities of the Organisation

The Club provides a wide range of football based sessions across the Community of Banff. These sessions include – Mini Kickers , Fun fours, Super Fives, 7 aside, 9 aside & 11 aside as well as our McDonalds Fun Football sessions.

All of our activities work towards the Scottish

Government’s key physical activity targets:

Mini Kickers

Our Mini Kickers Sessions are free and is aimed at children born 2017 & 2018. Designed to provide a fun and enjoyable introduction to football! The aims to develop and improve key skills such as balance and coordination, get active and learn to develop basic motor skills, whilst having lots of fun.

Team Football

We offer a full pathway here at the Club for boys and girls. Coming out of our Mini Kickers and into team Fun Fours through to Super Fives, 7 aside, 9 aside and 11 aside in the Aberdeen & District Juvenile Leagues as well as the Scottish Womens FA respectively. We have a highly motivated and professionally trained coaching team who foster the clubs Football for all philosophy by creating opportunities to participate in football in a Fun & Friendly environment.

Although many of our age groups are mixed Boys and Girls teams, our specific age groups for the Girls consist of : U12’s, U14’s and U18’s.

Community Hub

Our community Hub delivers support to families through the provision of clothes and food through a referral scheme from the local council housing department, social services, health visitors and general public.

Report to the Trustees of Deveronvale Community Football Club SCIO Registered charity number SC050709 on the merged accounts of the charity for the period to 30 June 2021 set out on pages 7-9. Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) 2005 Act and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (d) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) (c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner's statement

My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and, consequently, I do not express an audit opinion on the accounts.

Independent examiner's statement

In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention

  1. which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements:

  2. to keep accounting records in accordance with section 44(1) (a) of the 2005 Act and Regulation 4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations, and

  3. to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with Regulation 8 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations

have not been met, or

  1. to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

Nature & Purpose of Funds

Funds are raised through membership fees, grants, sponsorship and fundraising. All funds are unrestricted and used to support the advancement of public participation in football and the provision of recreational facilities and activities.

Trustee Remuneration & Expenses

No remuneration was paid during the period to any charity trustee or person connected to a trustee in this period.

Direct reimbursement of purchases on behalf of the organisation were paid to 5 trustees on submission of receipts. These payments amounted to £2,301.24 (£250 per course refunds and £2,021.24 per VEO equipment and worktop refund)
