We are here to prevent suicide across our communities for young people and adults. We do this through a range of 1-1, group and community-based supports, innovating and listening to the needs of our community. We used a lived-experience lens to approach this work, and do it in collaboration with others to maximise the impact.

Objectives: 4 The organisation’s purposes: 4.1 To promote the advancement of mental health and relief of adults and children in Inverclyde and beyond through providing access to information, training, peer support groups, therapies and other relevant opportunities that will allow adults and children, that are affected by mental health illness to develop coping strategies, feel comfortable talking about mental health and live fulfilled lives. 4.2 To save lives and reduce the rate of suicide of adults and children in Inverclyde and beyond by preventing suicide, improving lives, providing a safe, comfortable place to talk, increasing social connectedness, bringing the community together, to introduce safe talking within the community, to provide suicide awareness, providing peer to peer support. 4.3 To advance education of young people and adults alike, in Inverclyde and beyond through the delivery of initiatives and programmes in the community by providing learning and/or mental health awareness training in order to empower and increase emotional literacy. 4.4 To prevent or relieve poverty of adults in Inverclyde and beyond through empowering through the delivery of community initiatives, training, education, in order to increase capacity and employability skills and promote financial inclusion 4.5 To provide recreational activities of adults in Inverclyde and beyond, by offering a range of activities and skills with the aim removing as many barriers as possible to provide opportunities by addressing disparities & reducing inequality and improving the conditions of life.
