Trustee recruitment and appointment
The election of all the Trustees is by the ministry policy and procedures manual. The term of office for all the ministry officers shall be three years.

The advancement of religion.
Summary of the main activities in relation to our objects
God’s Amazing Love Assembly exists for the purpose of serving and glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ by following the commands, examples, and testimony of God’s Word, the Bible. This will be accomplished through public worship, the study and application of God’s Word, evangelizing those outside of the faith, providing opportunity for Christian service, and supporting missionary work at home and abroad.

Summary of main achievements
GALA'S MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS BETWEEN APRIL 2024-MARCH 2025.
GALA Ministry continues to engage with everyone, including families, children, teenagers, men and women. Central to all that we do is our faith, which continues to reflect in our welcome, worship, fellowship, and community initiatives, reflecting the love we preach to humanity. The last year, April 2024 through March 2025, has seen an increase up to 138 families that we engage with. Although the support given to the different families in the community varies due to their needs. We are grateful to God for His favour and provisions to ensure these needs are met in great ways.
Out with the Sunday services, GALA also continues to hold her activities as follows.

GALA Young Minds (junior)- creative session once a week for children between 5-12 years.

GALA Young Minds (Senior)- Interactive sessions once a week for TEENS. This is the platform for the GALA TEENS Forum to engage. In order to shape and encourage the GALA Young Minds to excel in their academic and spiritual pursuits, GALA provides ongoing online support and Bible studies on a weekly basis. It has been a pleasure nurturing and developing a great friendship so far, in both the GALA Young Minds -children and the GALA Teens’ Forum.

FAMILIES United in Music- Weekly music sessions where families get together to have fun through learning different musical instruments. Given the benefits that music training and participation offer to children across all facets of their development and upbringing, Families United in Music serves as a free platform for families to come together to learn different musical instruments.

GALA Christmas carol/community sing-along event to promote family mental health and to foster joy and happiness.

GALA Women Group- Weekly interactive sessions for women/mothers and a monthly meet up for the women.

GALA Men Group- Interactive sessions for the men/fathers and a monthly meet up for the men.

DADS vs LADS – Fun football /game time sessions for fathers and sons.

GALA Capacity building and leadership initiatives for 8 ministers which incorporate tailored activities to build all-around capacity and strengthen leadership skills and abilities in every individual.

Mobile Church/outreach- An outreach service where we reach out to needy families weekly in the community and build relationships from scratch while offering a listening ear.

Volunteer workers’ retreat. A time to get together and unwind.
GALA has impacted our community in so many ways as follows;

Providing weekly food assistance to families in the community through the GALA food initiative and with support from Neighbourly and Fareshare community food initiatives.

Offered a range of support services for 12 students.

Provision of winter clothing and bedding for 24 families.

Provision of culturally relevant food to enhance our food bank support for different families we engage with.

Organized two family day-out trips to Scottish organizations/places of interest to promote love for the outdoors, positive community engagement, and learning about their immediate environment.

Provided the platform for the GALA women to organise the ladies cook and share/ love feast and the Total Woman Project for the purpose of unity and to strengthen individual potential towards positive engagement.

Organized Entrepreneurial workshop for 12 volunteers.

Distribution of two IT devices to families who were in dire need.

Hosted 2 Community Mental Health and wellbeing capacity building sessions for the newly arrived families in Renfrewshire.

Facilitated three interdenominational worship events to nurture fellowship, love, and unity among churches.

Organised 2 intercultural Praise Events to promote love and unity of fellowship among diverse families and cultures.

Conducted GALA Workers’ retreat/leadership masterclass seminar and capacity building workshops for 19 volunteer leaders and 8 young people as a way of helping them contribute effectively to the church and community.

Hosted the Energy for All Community Event for families which attracted 58 participants.

Organised the ‘Stewards of Nature’ workshop, a climate change conversation for 30 Faith Leaders, which was powered by RENCAN.

Conducted 2 sessions of water baptisms for baptismal candidates at River Luss.
Also, a lot has been achieved this year despite these issues, but there are still gaps and more needs to be done to fill these gaps. Some of these gaps have been identified by the families we engage with in the community who have told us there is need. In response to this need, and by the special grace of God, GALA is looking to undertake the following.

4.Creative Activities for Elders 50+
5.Inspiring programmes for couples.
6.Creative Mental Health and well-being initiatives for Ethnically diverse young people and their families.
7.Information sessions about Understanding laws in Scotland and Civic responsibility awareness session.
GALA has encountered accommodation issues which resulted in the temporary use of a space at the Paisley West Church, and two different storages situated at different locations. Although GALA is using the Foxbar Rivers community space at the moment, GALA is actively working to secure a permanent place of worship in Foxbar, and we are believing God for a miracle.

The charity reserve policy
GALA Ministry is a small family church with an annual income of £46,561 The building is in a generally acceptable repair condition.
After evaluating the charity’s financial risks and operational needs—particularly as we work to secure our permanent place of worship—we aim to maintain reserves that are equivalent to three to six months of our average operating costs. This level of reserves will ensure that we can sustain our core services and fulfil our essential commitments.
The charity held funds at 31[st] March 2025 of £30,306, no restricted funds. It is the policy of the charity to maintain the unrestricted funds not committed ('the free reserves') at a level to support 3 to six months operational activity £8,747 - £17,493. . The Board consider that the current level of free reserves to be adequate.
The Charity did not receive any donated services or facilities in the financial year.

GALA Ministry aims to foster love, nurturing fellowship, and unity among families in Paisley and, by extension, across the globe. We embrace everyone without discrimination. Our commitment lies in serving our community and showing genuine love to all individuals. Central to our mission is our Christian faith, which guides our welcoming atmosphere, worship practices, and community initiatives, reflecting the love we promote for humanity and the world at large.
We understand the feeling of being in need without hope for the future. That's why we choose not to judge others or assign blame. Instead, our focus is on finding creative and sustainable ways to bring smiles to people's faces. We believe that no one should go hungry. We also care for the less privileged and the homeless in our community, providing food when needed and donating essential items such as toiletries, clothing, and bedding wherever help is required.
We have been actively engaging with our community through creative initiatives that enhance the spiritual and social well-being of families, making Paisley a brighter and more welcoming place to live. Our goal is to share God's love in practical ways by helping those in need, restoring dignity, and reviving hope. Our support is available to everyone in the community at no cost.

Report of the Independent Examiner to the Trustees and Members of GOD’S AMAZING LOVE ASSEMBLY (GALA)
I have examined the financial statements of GOD’S AMAZING LOVE ASSEMBLY (GALA) for the year ended 31 March 2025 on pages Seven to Twelve.
The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) 2005 Act and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (d) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) (c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
GOD’S AMAZING LOVE ASSEMBLY (GALA) is a registered Scottish Charity; my examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the organisation and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeks explanations from the Trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and, consequently, I do not express an audit opinion on the accounts.
In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention

Unrestricted funds are those that may be used at the discretion of the trustees in furtherance of the
objects of the charity. The trustees maintain a single unrestricted fund for the day-to-day running
of the Charity.
Restricted funds may only be used for specific purposes. Restrictions arise when specified by the
