Promote and manage the Gasconne breed within the UK. Educate the general public and in particular, farmers, as to the benefits and charactersistics of the breed. Provide support to Society members and any other interested parties.

Objectives: 4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 To encourage the breeding of Gascon cattle and educate the public generally and farmers in particular with regards to breeding, feeding, welfare, quality and purity of Gascon cattle. 4.2 To maintain and publish a Herdbook for Gascon cattle in the UK. 4.3 To collect information, verify and produce pedigrees to be entered in the Herdbook and ensure all entries are true without doubt in order to maintain the purity of the breed in the UK. 4.4 To promote the merits of Gascon cattle through promotion, organisation or management of show classes and the provision of information about the breed and its products through publicity. 4.5 To settle disputes and questions relating to, or connected with, Gascon cattle, as may be required, to preserve and safeguard the high quality of Gascon cattle to ensure it's sustainability. 4.6 To pursue all lawful activities that are beneficial to the Society, and all those in the wider community who are involved with Gascon cattle, and conducive to attaining all of the objectives.
