We ask the owner to have their pet vet checked and make sure it is microchipped.  Initially the owner may only need advice concerning their pets behaviour so one of our behaviourists gets in touch.  If the pet is still to be rehomed then a volunteer caseworker is allocated who contacts the owner to obtain further information on the pet sufficient to enable us to match the people offering to foster or adopt a pet.  We arrange transport to the foster or adopter and meet all related expenses until a pet is adopted.
