Charity Trustees Name of charity trustees for the period 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021 no resignations during this period Objectives and activities Friends of Healthy Valleys was established in November 2020 to support and enhance the delivery of services of Health Valleys (a voluntary organisation who supports vulnerable people of all ages). Friends of Healthy Valleys other objectives are to raise awareness of the services of Healthy Valleys and to generate income through grants, trusts, sponsorship, fund raising events for the sole purpose of financing the activities and ServIS offered by Health Valleys to their client group.
Structure, governance and management Friends of Healthy Valleys is managed by a group of volunteers including Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary and six other members. A few of the areas of expertise on the board includes retail, graphic design, funding, administrator and care worker. Friends of Healthy Valleys is formally govemed by a Constitution and are a Scottish Charitable I ncorpordted Organisation {SCIO) Achievements and Accounts Due to the ongoing Sars-2 Covid pandemic and its impact upon our Trustees and their commitments, Friends of Healthy Valleys has been unable to begin its proposed work. Consequently, zero finances are in Pla so we have no accounts to report- no income generated or expenses paid out. Future Plans At present we are unsure when we might be able to begin operating as a charity and are in a period of reflection about the future. We have scheduled a meeting to discuss our opkn'ons wrth our trustees and the management team at Healthy Valleys.
