**What the charity does:** To improve the lives of vulnerable adults by giving them support to make their voices heard. Supporting them to make informed decisions on life choices, to ensure their rights are protected and to be as involved in their local community as possible. This is done through citizen advocacy, where a volunteer works one-to -one in partnership with a vulnerable person.   The charity has two part time development workers who recruit, train and support volunteers to be effective citizen advocates and who establish and support the partnerships. The development workers also raise awareness of the needs of vulnerable adults and the benefits citizen advocacy can bring to a vulnerable person to the wider public through advertising, giving talks/presentations to groups and sharing information with other agencies.
