Our aim is to develop a holistic and collaborative service which will be free to use for anyone who has experienced any form of psychological trauma in Scotland. As well as providing therapy, we hope to offer opportunities for training and personal development and the chance to shape the future of services and understanding of trauma through participation in research. The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (a) to (c) of the 2006 Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) (c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts. ## **Independent Examiner's Statement** Since the Charity has prepared its accounts on an accruals basis and is registered in Scotland your examiner must be a member of a body listed in Regulation 11(2) of the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended). Page 6 ## **Trauma Healing Together SCIO Notes to the Financial Statements For the Period 1 November 2024 to 31 March 2026** ## 1. **General Information** Trauma Healing Together SCIO is a charitable incorporated organisation registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR), registered charity number SC050517. The principal address is 8 Kinnoull Street, Perth, PH1 5EN. ## 2. **Accounting Policies** ## 2.1. **Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements** The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP (FRS 102) "Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019)", Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland", the Charities and Trustees Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. The charity is a Public Benefit Entity as defined by FRS 102. ## 2.2. **Tangible Fixed Assets and Depreciation** Tangible fixed assets are measured at cost less accumulated depreciation and any accumulated impairment losses. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost of the fixed assets, less their estimated residual value, over their expected useful lives on the following bases: Fixtures & Fittings 5 years straight line Computer Equipment 5 years straight line ## 2.3. **Cash and Cash Equivalents** Cash and cash equivalents are basic financial assets and include cash in hand and deposits held at call with banks, other short-term highly liquid investments that mature in no more than three months from the date of acquisition and are readily convertible to a known amount of cash with insignificant risk of change in value, and bank overdrafts. ## 3. **Income from Donations and Legacies** |.
