Chair's Introduction
The Hub£ontlnues to be very successful in terms In USaEe and communlty eNgageMent and we are
full m05t nights Wlth addition315ports being Introduced and supported. Additlonal openlng hours
have been added to support increased use.
We have a number of exclting initiatives planned for the forthcoming year Includlng refurbishment
of one of the outdoor playing spaces, addltiona l opening hours and rollout of a new webslte and
automatic booking system, all of which will enhance the communitys user experience and ensure
the Sport Hub's contlnued success.
Trustees continue to invest time and effort in developin8 the Hub to be the well-used and thriving
asset for the communlty It is today.

Structure, Governance and Management
Type of governlng document
A&OC5Hub became a Scottish Charitable Inc¢rporated Organlsation ISCIOI on l October 2020.
The Trustees run and manage A&DC5Hub according to the Constitution that was accepted by Ihe Office of
the Scottish Charlty Re8u13tor.
Belng a SCIO allows A&DCSHub to apply for grants from a varlety of public/third sector funds.
Trustee Recrultment and Appolntment
The Inltial Board of Trustees Wa5 appolnled when the worklng group of ACSR Incorporated as a charlty.
Thereafter, appointment by Trustees is by the A&DCSHub Board by way of a vote at a board meeting.
The Constitution requires that we have a minimum of 3 trustees and a maximum of 9.
At the conclusion of each Annual General Meeiing, one thSrd (to the nearest rou nd number) of the charlty
trustees shall retire from office, The Con5titutiori exploin5 the process for re-electln8 or replacing Such
trustees.
Slnce our last report, a further two Trustees have lolned. We are currently operating with a Board of 6.
A&OCSHub is keen to have a diverse board to reflect our communlty and re8ularly recruit addltlonal
members to ensure we keep fresh oversight of operation5 ané encourage new ideas.
Objectives and actlvities
Charitable purposes
The organi53tion's purpose is the advancement OF publlc partlclpation In sport and the provlsion and
oiganisation of recreational facilities. Both are necessary for Improvlng the condltions of Ilfe for the
community for whom the facllitles are intended.
We are I local, living wage employer 2nd 5UPPOrt entry into work for young people. We currently operate
wlth a staff of 5 PT employees.
Summary of main activities
The facility comprises of I g3mes hall with five indlvldual Courts, a fully equlpped gym, 2 externa l Multl Usè
Games Areas and I full size, senior AstroTurf pitch.
We currently welcome groups from Netball, Indoor Football, Badminton, Cheerleading. Pickleball ond Indoor
Tennis alongside regular and adhoc users of the gym and the local runnlng group. A number of rhe5e sports
operate within local leagves and we 511PPOrt with practice, club and league/champion5hip bookings. We
have a sacial proscribing scheme to allow disadvantsged members Iboth economic and disabled) access to
sporting facilities that might not otherwise be available to them.

Financial Review
Funding
Whilst facilit¥ use remains seasonal with income fluctuating between wlnter and su mmer morbths, in the 12
month period Lo September 2024, we have sustained increases in both users and operating revenue and
contlnue to cover ou r regular monthly costs. Once completed, refu rbishment of the outdoor spaces will
allow us to increase usage and subsequent income during the summer season.
Our orlginal funding remalns largely Intact 3nd1s Used to offset ongolng equipment maintenance, one off
equipment purchases and support sporting development and initiatives.
Flnancial Statements
The financial statements on pages 6 to 8 provide details of income and expenditure for the 12 months from
l October 2023 to 30 September 2024.

2. Nature and Purpose of Funds
Unrestrlcted funds are those that may be used at the discretion of the trustee.s in furtherance of
the objoctives of the charity. The trustees maintain a single unrestricted fund for the day-to-day
running of the charltv.
Restricted funds may only be used for specific purposes. Restrictions arlse when speclfled by the
donor or when funds are raised for speciflc purposes.
