HOPE CHURCH BINGHAM Trustees Report 2024 The trustees present their report for the charity for the year ending 31 st December 2024 Objectives and Activities Objectives The advanTrment of the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement of Faith primarily but not exclusively within Bingham and the surrounding neighbourhood Other charitable purposes as shall put into practice the Christian faith including but not limited to: the prevention and reliet of need, hardship and sickness,. the advan￿ment of educab'on and the provision of community facilities Activities Preaching of the Word and gathering on a Sunday Discipleship including Bible Studies and giving and encouiaiying pastoral care Evangelism and mission through the church cafe and meetings The teaching, encouragement and inclusion of young people in weekly and monthly organised meetings in the church building Highlights of the year Church membership was 17 at the end of the year Regular activities during the year included Sunday Morning gathettng and evening prayer meetings Weekly Mens and Womens Bible Study Groups Weekly Children's activities - Wee Hope and Hope Kidz Weekly International Conversation Group and Bible Explore HGB football team - weekly matches and training Other activities included Successful Holiday Bible Club for children in August- Space Squad - over 20 attending Act Like Men conferences - around 50 people attended the 2 events Regular church family meals on Sundays Communtty Easter Event for family - around 15 families attended

2 Mission Teams from the US to support th8 church's work inGluding the Hol',day Bible Club Spring School of Theology- 3 days of bible leaching with around 15 people attended each day. Christmas Events for the community- with over 30 people of all ages a( each event. Financial Review The charity now has a bank account with Wirgin and has produc*d ils second annual set of accounts for the year ending 31st December 2024. A copy of these accounts and other relevant financial reports are attached. The trustees cary out a regular roview of the financial c£)ntrols and policies (including the safeguarding policy) in place for the safe running of the charity and confimi they are sufficient. Reserves Policy- the Trustees have agreed that the Charity should have a minimum balance in it's bank account of at least 2 months of the annual budget. For 2024 this amounts to about £6.000 and il is noted the balance is in excess of this. The trustees of the charity will ensure alllany recommendatiop.s will be reviewed and implemented. Future Plans Tha eharity will continue wtth all Uie dclivitles as set out above and has no pl3ns to aller ils objeciives an(J aims. The trustees will be considering ways to increase the activities of Ihe church in the advancement of the Christian faith. This will bring Its challenges but it has been our experignce that when facing chJlenges of all types we can trnst in Mmighty God lo provide for our needs as he has promised to do.
