FINANCIAL REVIEW AND RESERVES POLICY
Th& charity began its year with the startup sum of £920 in the bank, to whKh receipts of
£21,820 were added, making £22.74D available. Payments of £7,336 We￿ made Mlhin the
financial year, leav￿9 £15,404 to cary fo￿ard.
Due to the Tagore Geddes Fe8tNal taking place at the end of the financial year, a note has been
made of both rekted paymen15 and grant being settled in the first quarter of the next year.
Donated services an¢J benefits in land amounted to an e$limaled £3,300.
The issue of re3erves ad&]uale for a Cultu￿ charity such as SCOTS will be dealt with
In the years ahead.

RISKS TO WHICH THE CHARITY IS EXPOSED
The Trustees Gonsider that due lo Jls small sizè and its simplicity there is no material risk

STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES. RESPONSIBILITIES
The trustee5 are responsible for maintaining proper accounting records which disdose
vJith reasonable accuracy at any time the financial posfilfion of thè charity and which are
$ufficient to show and explain Ihe charity's Iransacltons and enable them to en8ure Ihat
the financial ststements comply with regulations made under the Charilres Act. They
are a150 responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking
reasonable steps for the prevention and delection of f(aud and other irregularities.
The truslees are also responsible for the contents of the trustees. report, and the
re5pon5ibility of the independenl eX￿In￿r in rel&tit)n to Ihe Iruslees. report ts limited to
examining the report and ensuring that, on th8 face of the report, there are no
in(x)nsistencies with Ihe figures dFsclosed in the financial stslements.
