The Charfty is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Or8anisation la SCIOI. It was registered In its Current
legal form on 11 September 2020. The charity was previous￿ an unincorporated charitable asso¢iation
but changed its leBal form to a SCIO. Thère were no assets to tran5ferto the SCIO on the 1st October
2020, It has a slngle tler strurture and as such the t￿￿ are members of the charty.
Appolntment of trustees
The management committee. which normally meets once a month, are the charitvs trustees.
Membership of the management committee is open to all Renfrewshire residents. Trustees arè elected
at the annual general meeting which Is held In September. There must be a mlnimum of th￿e trustees.

The or8anisation's charitable purposes are the advancement of the arts, heritsge and culture through
an annual arts festival and ass¢xiated activities, delivered for residents of Renfre￿hIre and visitor5
from further afield.
Actlvltles
The charity delivers an annual arts festival in September and other associated activities thrt)ughout the
year. The major outPLrt of the chartty is its annual festlval which sees local, national and intemational
artlsts present work In and around the civic. cultural and heritage buildin￿ of Renfrewshire.
The festival aims to platforni and promote artistic Lilent from Renfrewshire and brlng natlonal and
Internatlonal tslent to the local authority a￿a for the bpnpfit of residents in Renfrewshlre. There is a
specific focus on the intawble cultural herits8e of R
Ing promoting awareness of
some of Renfrewshire's most talented artlsts such as
o level.up opportunitles, the
charity delivers free or sub5idised activities to partiopants audiénce members.

Between 1st Ortober 2023- 30th September 2024 the trustees those to pause the annual festival for
one yearto ￿flert on achievements $0 far and focus on developing artistic programmes. fundraising
campalgns and strategic plans to address the on8otng cost-of-liv¢nB crisis and develop sustainability at
the tore of the chartty. The trusLees plan to recommence acthittles Indudlng the annual fe5rival in
October 2025.

Artlstlc Leadershlp
Three trustees currently lead the organisation, meeting to discuss the artistic programme. fundraisin&
and strategic plans. They also consult with local residents of Renfrewshire to gather feedback and
identify areas where the arts can improve residents. qualÉty of life. Thi5 ensures the festival remalns
relevant and responsive to community needs. Thi5 leadership model supports a dNerse and inclusive
artistic vision, reflective of the local context in which the fe$￿Val is presented.

Tannah511 Arts & Herltage retains unrestrlcted fund5 of £1,857.1Kl and £1.598.￿ in restrirted funds In its
account held with the Bank of Scotland. The remaining funds will be expended on the salary of a part
time artlstic director in 2024- 2025 to support 5tr*egic development.
Reserves pollry
The trustees, p￿1(Y Is to retsln 3 month< worth of norn)al running tosts in order to meet commitments
and to eover any unexpected expenditure. Thoe month5 expenditure stsnds at £O.ChJ and unrestricted
reserve5 are £1,857.00 above thls at £1,857.￿. The trustees have minimal overheads and belleve that
this is stlll ift an acceptable range but will continue to monitor thè position with a view of the currènt
challenging fundraisin8 landscape.
Plans ft*rth¢ Future
The cultural and financial landscape post-pandemic & during a cost-of-living crlsls poses ongolng threats
to the dellvery of the festlval in 2024 and the trustees have madÈ the decision to pause activities and
fo¢u5 on Strateg￿ plannin8. Continually Tising costs of projert delivery and a downturn In hJndralsln8
opportunities from trusts and foundation5 proves challenging. The trustees have tsken the decislon to
delay the festival untll October 2025 allowin8 for tlme to develop a nèw strnte8ic plan for proBrammin8
& financln8.
