**What the charity does:** Our charity is set up to provide a means by which musical ability of all levels can be nurtures and developed in people of all ages and backgrounds. We also provide many performances throughout the year, some of them to help support other local organisations and charities, as well as providing cultural experiences for local people. Our charity helps keep alive a brass banding tradition in the area going back some 150 years.  .

**Objectives:** 2. The association's objects are: (a) The promotion of the Arts through the playing of brass band music (b) To promote musical skills, and an appreciation of music (c) To hold practices generally once a week, but with additional practices as and when necessary. (d) To perform music for the benefit of the community as a whole.
