The Trust aims to engage, inspire and empower the people of Galashiels and the Central Borders to live happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives through: • Raising education attainment and creating training and employment opportunities for young people. • Diverting young people away from and anti-social behaviour. • Increasing participation in sport and physical activity and investing in accessible high-quality sports facilities for people living in areas of disadvantage. • Providing motivation to young people to design and implement social action programmes in their own communities and championing positive community cohesion. • Improving the physical and mental health and wellbeing of our communities.

Objectives: 4.1 The advancement of public participation in sport and the provision of recreational facilities, coaching, training and volunteering opportunities, primarily related to association football. 4.2 The advancement of the art, heritage, culture and science through the restoration and preservation of the category A-listed stand at Netherdale 3G Arena.
