_The EDUS Educational Society is an umbrella organization associating Polish Supplementary Schools in Scotland. Our mission is to support education in the Polish language, history, culture, tradition and Christian values of children and young people in Scotland._ 

_Our goals:_ 

_Support for Polish Schools_ 

_Promotion of Polish language education among the Polish community in Scotland_ 

_Organization of training and conferences for teachers_ 

_Workshops for students and parents_ 

_Creation of the EDUS Examination Center for children from all over Scotland to take Polish language exams at GCSE and A-level._ 

_We  launched a new campaign with General Consulate of Poland in Edinburgh called #I know who I am in November 2023._ 

_The aim of the Campaign is to show the importance of maintaining children's knowledge of the Polish language and thus supporting their bilingualism._ 

_The aim of the campaign is to promote bilingualism and learning Polish in Polish schools located in Scotland. Highlighting the benefits of speaking two languages in an accessible and clear way._ 

_The campaign's addressees include:_ 

_Polish families with children aged 0 to 18 who hesitate whether to send their children to Supplementary Polish School or their children attend the Polish School, but the parents are not convinced about its advantages. Parents who are not aware of how much they do for their children when they give them their native language from birth. As well as highlighting the advantages of passing A-level and GCSE exams for young people aged 12-18._

- _Passing the A-level exam also gives you the opportunity to study in Poland_ 

- _Polish is an additional, unique competence on the future market_ 

- _Your child may be bilingual_ 

- _At the Polish School you can make lifelong friends!_ 

_1. Substantive workshops for directors and management staff for Polish schools in Scotland during a joint event to the large Polish map of Scotland 02/06/2024_ 

_2. Live methodological workshops with EDUS 02/06/2024_ 

_3. A map unites us - Polish Diaspora Day next to a large Polish map of Scotland 02/06/2024_ 

_4. Developing the structures of Polish organizations. All year_ 

_Online meetings take place once a month where all decisions are made together. All schools in Scotland have joined the charity and there are currently 29 of them- as the focus group._
