Objectives: 4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 To advance education, health, community development, human rights, environmental protection and the prevention and relief of poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa by supporting local programmes and projects. 4.2 To promote understanding of the needs of the poor and marginalised in Sub-Saharan Africa through communication, public relations and the recruitment of supporters mainly in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States of America. 4.3 To support the local programmes and projects of VMM Africa (trading as the Association of Mission Volunteers) and other similar organisations through fundraising from individual and corporate donors.
