APPENDIX 1 Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the financial period In 2024-25 LCMF focussed on ensuring that the new projects (Setting the Stage (Sts)) that were scheduled to start in 2024-25, took place when scheduled and were well nm, and well received. DuTing the year we Taised over £4,700 from grants, dollatiolls. and fi]nd-raising activities. Most of this funding was specifically for the Sts workshop we ran during the year (Marcb 2025) This was well attended and well received. The workshop comprised a fi-daY training event offering young people the opportullity to work alollgside industy piofessiollals ill soun(t lighting, backlinelinstruments at a 'knock" closed doors music event with live bands brought in to do sound checks for the traillees. We are looking at ways to build on these workshops in the followin years. During the year. the Fund contiDued its close liaisoD With the University of the Highlands and Islands both at the Executive level alld witb two of its colleges. Nortb Highlalld College (Alness) alld Invetness College, as well as Skills Development Scotlalld. Financial review Brief statement of the charity's policy on reserves The Trustees agreed that the fijnd should commit to the retention of funds representing 6 months operating costs against the possibility of no additional finance being received during such time.
