**What the charity does:** The charity was established to encourage and assist young people in the Highlands who wished to pursue a career in music. We do this in a number of ways including giving funding to the UHI music department and setting up workshops to give  students practical experience of what is required to put on a gig.

**Objectives:** The organisation will operate as a non-profit distributing charity whose principal objectives are:  (a) The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science. and  (b) The relief of those in need by way of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
