**Objectives:** 4 The organisation&#x27;s purposes are: The advancement of citizenship and community development.  The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.  The relief of those in need by reason of age, illhealth, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, and in furtherance of these purposes.  4.1 To promote communities free of social exclusion and injustice where everyone has mobility and access to the services they require.  4.2 To provide free flights to members of remote rural communities who need to travel long distances in the Scottish Highlands and Islands in order to attend essential appointments or meetings for health and/or well-being.  4.3 To bring much needed supplies, such as medications, equipment, etc. to remote locations across the Highlands and Islands.  4.4 To organise, advise and encourage community involvement in refurbishing and maintaining disused airfields across the Highlands and Islands.  4.5 To work in partnership with local businesses and organisations in order to encourage sponsorship of small airfields in the Scottish Highlands and Islands.  4.6 To offer free ?once in a lifetime? gift flights to disadvantaged members of rural communities. such as the terminally ill and severely disabled.  4.7 To collaborate and engage with local authorities, services and community leaders to organise events such as small air shows and displays in order to generate interest and involvement in the provision of an air service as well as promote local tourism.
