Activities
'It carries out activities or services itself'
'the advancement of education','the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science','the advancement of human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation','the promotion of religious or racial harmony','the promotion of equality and diversity'
We promoted community involvement through cultural and historical exhibitions and public events in communities. We created safe spaces to discuss language use and terminologies relating to historical misuse. We organised conferences and round-table discussions that fostered an all-inclusive culture. We supported research and studies that filled gaps in international research fields, and we developed educational packages for schools, colleges and universities. We also produced leaflets for medical workers and students, and created educational videos and statements focused on language use and awareness. We ran face-to-face and online sessions, and we engaged in partnership work with members of local, national and international communities, including allies and established organisations undertaking anti-racist work across institutional, educational, political and personal contexts. We organised festivals, workshops and talks that promoted inclusivity, integrity and solidarity.
Objectives: The advancement of education leading to greater understanding of the word Mongol referring to people of Mongolian ethnicity and ending the historical misuse of the term. To advance the knowledge on arts, heritage and culture of the Mongol community around the world in order to change attitude in a positive way. The promotion of equality and diversity by working to eliminate discrimination and degrading treatment of people of Mongolian ethnicity. Ensuring all people are treated as equals, with dignity and respect, and their differences are celebrated. The promotion of racial harmony by promoting understanding between communities. The advancement of human rights by advocating on behalf of people affected by hate speech and/or degrading treatment, helping to ensure that background or social circumstances are not obstacles to achieving potential.
