All volunteers dolng regulated work are members of the PVG Scheme for work with Protected Adults. Volunteers are motlvated and trained to demonstrate non-judgemental, compassionate care on the streets of the city by listening, caring and helping. The instantly recognisable uniform is welcomed by the public at the weekend on the streets of Glasgow and at major events. Street P8Stors engage wlth a varlety of people who use the nlght-tlme economy In Glasgow. especially those who are excessively intoxicated, distressed, vulnerable andlor require support for a safe onward joumey. We also work with homete68 people and beggars, We provtde support to Pollce Scofjand, to door stewards and tsxi marshals employed by the Cty Council. Teams are link8d by radio to the CCTV control centre at Glasgow Operations Centre. We work in partnership with the Pollce., Homeless Project Scotland (which In the period reported operated an ovemlghl shelter In the dty centre); Glasgow Stre8t Aid. (whlch has unifomed volunteer paramedics in the city centre) and Glasgow City Mission. which has a number of services for those who are homeless, including an ovemight housing 8UPPOrt service in the wlnter of 2024-2025. G18sgow Street Pastors is govemed by a Management Team of Trustees drawn from volunteers who are actively involved in the tharity's work. As we are affiliat8d to Ascension Trusc a national charity, we follow their guidelines and protocols. use their tralnlng materials and wear the same unifO￿n as other Street Pastor groups. In the year to June 2026 we had 3 paid part-time staiF. a Ctrordinator. an Administration Officer and Development Officer.

ACTivrriES JULY 2024- JUNE 2025 Th8 primary obj8Ctive of Street Pastors is to listen. care and help. Our Street teams do this by patroS1ing on the city ￿ntre streets beljween the hours of 2200 and 0400. between 2200 and 0100 in the West End and occasionally at other major events in the city. Our Safe Zone operates from St George's Tron Church in BuLTanan Street a Friday and Saturday night during the same hour5, slaffed by SP volunteers. The Safe Zone offers support to vulnerable people. an opportunty to be inside in bad weather and the opportunty to recover before making arrangements for their onward joum8y. Police Scotland also use the f8ciIty thus saving time and valuabl8 resources on the streets. We are in no doubt that our work on the streets and in our Safe Zone is the reason we exist and is the most importanl thing we do. During the year we (x)ntinued lo have many significant encounters on th8 street and to meet people strugglino with addictions. loneliness, mentsl health Igsues and spiritual searching. This is in addltlon to the short-term problems of drunkennes5, lost property, being separated from friends, and mlnor injuries. Flip-flops conts'nue to be often required and much appreciated. We would conslder the 'ln the moment, encounters and needs met to be the most important part of our VK)rk. Following the implementstlon ol 8 new database system in January 2024, w8 are able to Summarise our actvity for 2025 as follows: Shifts completed by individual Slreet Pastors Number of observer shifts 900 20 People brouqht into Safe Zone Instances of First Aid given Significant conversations Practical support given Safety support given Rp.qiifi81s In prAyP.r tp.am% Requests for help lo other agencies Reqllesls for help from other agencies Glass ilems removed from street Flipflops distributed Appi FtsiaiGll i?or¥e 155 51 251 2254 283 99 52 3250 993 1413 Our Prayer Teams have been integrated with our operational teams and their support (from home) rlght through until Ihe end of the shift is hlghly valued. though our recruitment, selection and training programmes have been busy. Ihe natural tumover of volunteers in the p8riod has resulted in littte overall change In numbers. A typical week would see 1 patrol in the West End and in the caty centre, with the Safe Zone being open on both Friday and Saturday nights with either 1 or 2 teams on the street.

In 2024 we racruited a Development Offi¢xr. Fiona Kilpatri(* one of our Street Pastors. Fiona's work has been invaluable to us: populating our database with detsils of church contacts; organising talks to churches, thurth. groups and others as requested: promotiD.g our work using the videos vthith were cxeated in 2023. reaching out to churches vthere there are no Stré8t Pastors. developing promotional materials. Elaine Moore continues as our AdTninistration Officer. Elaine is perforniing many key roles in Ihe adminislratlon of the organisation, induding some recent developments. Alongside the implementatlon of the datsbase. we have 4 key teams (Operations & Training. Development, Finance and Soc181 Medla) whjrth supp￿ Ihp. work of our 3 st8ff members and provlde a Ilnk to the Management Team. Our wider link6 have been important to us in ￿cent tlmes. We have been able to welcome trainees from nearby and smaller street Pastor groups to our Iraining; we have 8UPPOrted Paisley Street Pastors in prayer and by the us8 of our Nideos., one of our volunteers sits on the Board of Ascension Trust Scotland and another on their Saf8guarding T88m 8nd we have bean informally gupportlng the establishment of a Street Pagtor group In Shetl8nd. TRUSTEES AIMS FOR JULY 202> JUNE 2026 Encourage and nurture teams, ensuring that new Street Pa8tors 8re well int8gr8t8d 8nd traln8d as Ih8y join us. Develop our selection and recruitinent to be more effective lJ)th for us and for potentlal volunteers.
