The trustees present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the period ended 31 March 2025.
Governance
The organisation is a registered Scottish charity. The constitution contains the administration arrangements and purposes.
Legal Status and Governance
Lanarkshire Community Hub has a board of Trustees. Trustee meetings happen regularly, to fulfil the role of charity policy and strategic direction. The board consists of four members of with various experiences that are vital to the work of the charity.
Objects and Activities
The organisation is established for the benefit of youth (age 12-25) in Lanarkshire and surrounding areas and the purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of education 4.2 The advancement of citizenship 4.3. The provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of recreational activities 4.4 The advancement arts, heritage and culture and the promotion of religious and racial harmony. 4.5 The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
Financial Report
The results for the year are set out in the attached statement of financial activities. Income for the year amounted to £0 . Total expenditure amounted to £0 .
Responsibilities of the Board of Trustees in Relation to the Financial Statements
Charity law requires the Board of Trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity as at the end of the year and of its surplus or deficit for the financial year then ended. In doing so the Trustees are required to:

Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently

Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent

Prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to assume that the charity will continue in business
The trustees are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
