| Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves Details of any deficit Donated facilities and services (if any) |
BSTK does not operate a reserves policy. This is because unforeseen costs can be excluded. BSTK does not have any standing expenses. It is hosted by the University of Glasgow’s COGITO Epistemology Research Centre, and so incurs no costs for real estate and runs no risks of unforeseen costs relating to real estate. BSTK’s funding will come largely from membership subscriptions and fundraising events. The expenses for attainment of its aims are either free (publication in academic journals) or flexible (number and size of events organised by BSTK) will be constrained by BSTK’s income (and perhaps supplemented by attendance fees or funding institutions/projects hosting BSTK events). |
