4.1.1 Collaborating with other like-minded groups and individuals. DFFF has developed an environment where our shared knowledge will create the solutions that will alleviate poverty in our city. 4.1.2 Through listening and action, we work towards inspiring people to transform our communities to have a better quality of life. 4.1.3 Giving people a challenging, informative and equal voice 4.1.4 Engaging the public to empower people to address challenges in Dundee. 4.2.1 Be a pressure/accountability group to the Dundee Partnership and other organisations (eg: local housing associations, money advice services, etc) that are able to create positive changes in Dundee. 4.2.2 Work in an advisory/sounding board role to the Dundee Partnership and other organi-sations 4.2.3 Listening to the community and making sure the community informs what information we take to our meetings with the Dundee Partnership and other organisations.

Objectives: 4.1 The prevention and relief of poverty for the people of Dundee by raising awareness of the causes of poverty and solutions to prevent poverty that are created by those who have personal experience of living in poverty. We will do this by: 4.1.1 Collaborating with other like-minded groups and individuals. DFFF has developed an environment where our shared knowledge will create the solutions that will alleviate poverty in our city. 4.1.2 Through listening and action, we work towards inspiring people to transform our communities to have a better quality of life. 4.1.3 Giving people a challenging, informative and equal voice 4.1.4 Engaging the public to empower people to address challenges in Dundee. 4.2 The advancement of citizenship and community development in Dundee, by pursuing ways that ensure that people who have/are struggling with poverty are involved with creating and challenging the systems, decisions and procedures that directly affect them. This includes a number of purposes which focus on benefit to the community rather than the individual. We will strive to help people to be active citizens in Dundee through empowerment, education, and listening to their solutions.
