It delivers education programmes for six local primaryt schools and the local secondary school. These programmes aim to give the pupils an understanding and appreciation of the local environment and the creatures to be found there. It delivers a salmon stocking programme for the local river board and carries out environmental works in the Cree catchment. It provides training and volunteer opportunities for up to 50 people a year.

Objectives: 4 The organisation's purposes are: (a) The advancement of education (b) The advancement of environmental protection and improvement (c) The advancement of culture and science (d)The advancement of community development including rural regeneration and the promotion of volunteering (e) The organisation of recreational activities available to members of the public at large with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the activities are primarily intended All in relation to fish flora and fauna in Dumfries & Galloway and South Ayrshire but with particular regard to salmon sea trout brown trout and rainbow trout within the River Cree catchment.
