Achievements and performance

The Masquerade Ball took place in September 2024, and we were delighted to raise £16k for Breast Cancer Now, who change the lives of people affected by breast cancer, by combining the power of research and support.

On the night, there was a guest speaker who detailed her experiences as a breast cancer sufferer and the support the charity had provided her with, plus a video was shown about the charity’s work.

The event was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow with a three-course dinner, a variety of entertainment and featured a range of fundraising initiatives and games, including raffles and an auction with prizes donated by a number of local businesses. Sponsorship was secured for the event from several companies and along with many returning guests, ticket sales were also promoted via a range of social media groups.

There were in the region of 200 guests and feedback on the event was very positive.
