4. Achievements and Performance

Despite a challenging economic climate, the charity successfully maintained its 11-year presence in the community. Key achievements this year include:

5. Financial Review

Statement on the Charity’s Policy on Reserves: The Trustees aim to maintain a reserve level that covers at least 3 months of core operating costs to protect against fluctuations in fundraising income.

Financial Health: At the start of the 2024/25 period, the charity faced significant pressure due to increased running costs and consumables pricing. For the 2025/26 financial year, our primary goals are:

  1. Diversifying Income: Increasing proactive fundraising efforts to reduce reliance on grants and ensure long-term service viability.

  2. Community Outreach: Expanding the reach of our CPR demonstrations and engagement sessions.

  3. Operational Excellence: Continuing to provide a high-standard, rapid response service in partnership with the Scottish Ambulance Service.

Declaration: The trustees declare that they have approved the trustees' report above.
