**What the charity does:** The Moray Monday Club is a charity that was set up to support people living with Dementia and their carers who live in the Moray area. To help reduce isolation and allow the person with dementia and carer to function as part of the community. We meet every Monday afternoon in Elgin. The group offers friendship, support, and advice. We start the afternoon with tea and baking, and we provide fun, laughter and friendship as well as the opportunity to socialise and meet with people in similar situations, to meet and make new friends. We provide musical entertainment as music is a proven therapeutic activity for people living with dementia as well as being a good way to connect with others. Music can help reduce anxiety and depression. it helps maintain speech and language, it can enhance quality of life, and evoke long forgotten memories. We also organise monthly lunches, and regular trips and outings.

**Beneficiaries:** 'Older People','People with disabilities or health problems'
