Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of
the charity during the financial period
The Well continued meeting throughout 2024-2025, with
weekly meetings for worship, discussion and reflection on
Sundays in the Barnbeth Road area. Numbers attending
dropped, with the group adjusting to some long-term members
deciding to move on, including our former treasurer.
The project to seek a community asset transfer of the SWAMP
Garden on Barnbeth Road continued with further discussions
with councillors and officials. However, despite the perimeter
being secured work on securing the asset transfer has slowed
as we discuss further the practicalities of using the space. We
note with interest the potential development on the adjacent
space.
Many members continued to support our community outreach
through the Voice Project, with participation in the community
choir and youth choir based in St James Church. Support for
this was affirmed with us committing to financially supporting
the ongoing work in Craigton Primary school and several
members support the work of the projects partnership with
Scripture Union.

Financial review

Brief statement of the charity’s policy
on reserves
Details of any deficit
Donated facilities and services (if any)
We do not at present have a policy on reserves, as we have a
very limited income. We have reviewed the cessation risk and
are satisfied that all liabilities can be discharged in the event of
cessation as we do not currently have any financial liabilities.
There is currently no deficit.
All activities were led by members of the organisation and all
meetings took place in gardens owned by the members.
