ANYiSO SCIO is established to ensure that African and ethnic minority women, their children and young people from all background are given the support and services needed to enable them to live better and safer lives free from discrimination, domestic violence and abuse. We ensure that these women, children, and young people are confident to raise issues that affect them and empower them through skill development workshops, trainings, and counselling, to enable them to be financially independent

Objectives: Purposes 4 The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 To work with government, policy makers, mainstream agencies, local and international organisations, to raise awareness on the barriers and challenges faced by refugees. asylum seekers and forcefully displaced individuals that prevents them from accessing support. and seek ways to provide the necessary support they need to live a safer and healthier lives. 4.2 To empower individuals, and young people by promoting education, improve their health and wellbeing, provide trainings, workshops, and seminars to enable them to learn new skills and be economically independent thereby preventing and relieving poverty. 4.3 To promote community development and integration by bringing people together, including ethnic minorities, young people, refugees and asylum seekers, and work with agencies, our networks and partners to provide the support, and services needed to enable them to fulfil their full potentials. 4.4 To promote community engagement, and diversity by providing opportunities for diverse cultural activities and events both locally and internationally such as music, arts and crafts, etc to build their confidence, promote mutual social integration and foster peaceful community cohesion.
