Our charity is set up to: 1. support the restoration and preservation of St Peter's Kirk 2. facilitating the continuation of religious and secular services such as weddings and funerals at St Peters 3. provide a space for community use where the building's history and interior design can be appreciated through events such as concerts, educational talks, guided tours and by means of an accessible heritage display

Objectives: Purposes 4. The organisation's purpose is to promote the advancement of the arts, heritage and culture: 4.1 By supporting the restoration and preservation of St Peter's Kirk, South Ronaldsay, whose interior is A listed and of national and international significance, a unique place of historical, social, religious and architectural importance for the members of the local and the wider community. 4.2 By preserving the sanctity of St Peter's Kirk and its kirkyard which is also of historical importance and which is currently the main grave-yard in use by the community, as well as facilitating the continuation of religious and secular services such as weddings and funerals. 4.3 (a) By providing a space for community use where the building's history and interior design located within an area of special natural interest, can be further appreciated through events such as concerts, educational talks and visits, films, and an accessible heritage display.
