Can Do strives to ensure disabled young people do not experience social isolation as a result of their disability. We do this by running school holiday playscheme provisions and term time youth clubs to offer regular social interaction within a safe and supported environment. Providing skilled, experienced staff and volunteers we ensure young people can access services independently from their parent/carers. The services we offer deliver regular planned respite to carers with challenging caring roles.

Objectives: The purposes of the SCIO in supporting young people aged 5-18 years with a disability, who live within the East Lothian area, shall be the following: 2.1 Advancement of citizenship, education and community development. 2.2 The provision and organisation of recreational activities. 2.3 The promotion of equality and diversity. 2.4 The relief of those in need.
