Charltable Purpose Our purpose as recorded in our constltutSon Is "The prevention or relief of poverty" Yhe advancement of cltizenshlp or community development" and "The provislon of recreatlonal facilities, or the or8anlzatlon of recreational actlvities, with the object of improvin8 the condltions of life for the persons for whom the facilitles or activities are primarily intended. Year 2024-2025 Project legacy from the Our place project stlll on8oln8 wlth a commitment from us to continue: • Communlty Growing- Communlty Tool Llbrarles- the resources are stored at the sensory center, publlclty and a community worker to run thls prolect is needed. The "really rubbish project" originally TC&G is still to be delivered this will be revlewed and consideration to how this can realistically be implemented In 2025. The forest and 8rowin8 project requlre development- recruitrnent of volunteers to run the project and maintain the area is needed. In the future the committee and community would like to explore the options of a poly tunnel. The Tamfourhill community hub have applied for fundln8 for a Polytunnel- this could be supported from TTRO. SCYAP Achlevements 2023- 20024 SCYAP supported an array of approaches and contexts to working with local youn8 people, all of whlch are underplnned by the Projects 5 key outcomes. •Twili8ht Sports Programme has 184 young people registered between 10-16 years old, the Pro8ramme take5 place at three different public parks: Nailer Rd Park, Easter Carmuirs Park
& Tamfourhill Games Court and in winter It takes place at the Tamfourhill Community Hub. There are currently 41 young people Involved with different Youth Awards (Dynamic Youth Award, Silver Youth Achievement Award, Saltire Award & The High 5 Award) Youth Awards are delivered though our community-based youth action groups, Summer Programme, the local schools, and youn8 volunteers involved with the Twili8ht Sports- programme. The main challenge to the the TTRO is having the capaclty to fully respond to potential youth work opportunitles and developments. wlth I full time development worker, a small 8roup of volunteers and a sessional workers budget these circumstances will not chan8e in the short to medium term. In 2025 we are commltted to lookin8 at funding for full tlme youth workers to help extend the SSYAP and the exlsting youth provislon wlthln the hub. Meetin8s and engagements from FC thls year have been limited. Overall, the R0 has mana8ed to Implement several community projects with the alm to tsckle poverty and the advancement of communlty with an emphasls on community empowerment. Proposals for 202*2025 The committee will support the SSYAP project and employees whllst lookin8 to make local partnership links wlth other 3rd sector organlzations. The group wlll contlnue to respond to the community's needs and our community safety plans. The committee would Ilke to source funding for chatty benches within the communlty and have made a commitment to complete this In 2025.
