The charity was set up primarily to administer the letting of Holywood Village Hall to groups from Holywood and environs who run activities, e.g., exercise and fitness classes that the people of Holywood parish can attend. The Village Hall is also let to private individuals from the community for parties and other events, such as funeral teas, and for other activities, e.g., badminton. We employ a hall-keeper who manages the day to day bookings and enquiries and the general running of the hall, including light cleaning duties. The HVH trust also organises some events for the people in the community, e.g., a coffee afternoon and magic show. The trustees meet regularly throughout the year.
