Hebridean Pursuits is a charity based in the Scottish Highlands. Our mission is simple: to help young people grow, and to give them the chance to achieve more than they ever thought possible — whatever their background. We run year-round outdoor learning adventures across Scotland’s wild coasts and mountains with activities including mountaineering, coasteering, climbing, and canyoning. We support young people to connect with the outdoors in ways they haven't previously. For many of the young people we work with, especially those facing disadvantage and challenges, these experiences are life-changing: they build confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging that lasts long after they’ve gone home. Activities are more than personal adventure, they are about personal growth

Objectives: 4 The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 The relief of need, the advancement of education and the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the activities are primarily intended by promoting the development of confidence and resilience in marginalised young people with the development of social skills, co-operation and teamwork through the provision of structured outdoor learning courses. 4.2 Improving the conditions of life of young carers by providing recreation and educational activities in the form of outdoor learning breaks which provide relief from their caring responsibilities.
