Regular fundraising Reserve Policv The trustees, policy is to retain 3 months, worth of normal running costs in order to meet commltments and to cover any unexpected expenditure. Three months expenditure stands at £1,079 and at present free reserves, which amount to £10.764 are above the target level and the Trustees aim to maintain this. Future Plans To manage the restored Grade A Listed building together with the improvements to enable full atcessibilitv, for the benefit of the People of Strichen and surrounding area. providing meeting rooms, and a business cenlre for individuals and Community Groups, and providing a centre for enabling acces5 to historic artefacts of the Strichen Area. Funding for the roof re-slating and gutterin& window & door repairs, wall pointing, Upper Hall ceiling rep3ir and insulation and North wall re-instatement, had been gained from the Place Based Investment Programme. This work was completed in February 2024. total cost £52,308, grant received from PBIP of £49,990. Other grarits received included Foundation Scotland Ivattenfall Community Fund £20,0001 and the Buchan Area Initiative 20231£5.0001 towards Toilet demolition costs and stripping out the Upper Hall in readiness for internal works. Nature & Purpose of Funds
Unrestricted funds are those that may be used at the discretion of the trustees in furtherance of the objects of the charity. The trustees maintain a single unrestricted fund for the day-to-day running of the organisation.
Restricted funds may only be used for specific purposes as specified by the funder/donor.
Trustee Remuneration & Expenses
No remuneration was paid to any charity trustee or person connected to a trustee in this period.
Direct reimbursement of purchases on behalf of the organisation was paid to 1 trustee on submission of receipts. This payment amounted to £91.00.

I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 30 November 2024 which are set out on pages 4-6.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended). The charity trustees consider that the audit
requirement of Regulation 10(1) (d) of the 2006 Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) (c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner’s statement
My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the 2006 Accounts
Regulations. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeks explanations from the trustees
concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.

In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention
