Objectives: 3. The organisation's purposes are: 3.1 To promote African heritage in Scotland especially through activities such as cultural exhibitions and seminars on African history and culture with a particular focus on the East African sub-national Kingdom of Buganda. 3.2 To advance the community development and citizenship of the people of Buganda in Scotland. 3.3 To promote racial equality. The charity aims to engage with other community stakeholders promoting racial equality including but not restricted to the Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights to participate in and contribute to national programs aimed at racial equality particularly in events commemorating Black History Month in Scotland. 3.4 The advancement of health and fitness among the African community in Scotland. 3.5 To advance human rights for the people of Buganda. The charity shall engage with the relevant Scottish authorities to raise awareness of any human rights violations among the people of Buganda, in Scotland where it is deemed that such Scottish authorities have the jurisdiction to act upon such violations.
