The charity is set up to own, manage and safeguard Boleskine House, a B-listed historic building, together with its surrounding estate and lands. We do this through the conservation of the listed building, the protection and enhancement of the estate’s natural heritage, and by opening the site to the public. The charity manages public access, educational activity and events that promote understanding of Scotland’s historic environment, landscape, and cultural heritage.

Objectives: The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1.1 The restoration and preservation of the Boleskine House estate. 4.1.2 To advance the education of the public in the subject of local Scottish history, with particular emphasis on the Boleskine House estate. and 4.1.3 To provide recreational activities with the object of improving the overall conditions of life for the public benefit. 4.1.4 To advance the improvement and conservation of the natural environment for the purpose of promoting sustainable development, facilitating bio-diversity and preserving wildlife and natural habitats for native species in and around the Boleskine estate.
