Achievements and performance
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the financial period |
During this financial period, the Lacrima Foundation continued to pursue its charitable purposes of advancing environmental protection and biodiversity, with a focus on honey bee conservation. The charity’s activities included ongoing research and development of log hive designs intended to replicate natural habitats for bees, along with limited pilot activity and engagement with local stakeholders. The charity also undertook awareness-raising activities to promote understanding of pollinator decline and sustainable environmental practices. Administrative and preparatory work was carried out to support future development, including exploration of materials and methods relevant to hive production. Overall, the charity’s activities during the period were consistent with its stated purposes and contributed to its longer-term objectives. |

Money should only be kept in reserve for specific reasons. It would be prudent to keep two to three months running costs in reserve. It would also be good to have some funds in reserves to cover future outreach programme and work. |
