Objectives and Aclivities
Cbaritable P￿ry￿¢S
The prevention or relief of poverty and the advancement of citizenship or community development.
Activities
We recognise that there are many r¢asons for food poverty, but also that there are many who are
still, deprived or in poverty, though they have enough food. So we aim to simply help those in our
community who are suffering mainly, but not exclusively, from food poverty. We recognise that
there are many others in the community who may not lack finances to buy foolt but have other
Issues which make them vulnerabl¢ and n￿dy, such as bereavement, loneliness, bullying, mental
health issues and mobility problems to name but a few. The Fed Up Community Cafe aims to both
be a safe place where anyone can come for a cupp4 a chat, a snack or a meal, or even just a plac¢ to
have a quiet chat with a friendlv face.

Achievements and Perforniance
As we look back on another year, fm really thankful for all the great help our cafe has received.
This past year truly shows how strong our community is when we work together, and I want to say a
huge thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way.
Our hard-working stsff and dedicated volunteers are the main re&8on we do so well. Day in and day
out, they put in so much effort to make sure our cafe is a friendly, safe, and welcoming place for
everyone who walks through our doors. Their continuous hard work means our cafe stays a warn]
and helpful spot right here in our community, a place where people feel comfortable and cared for.
We are also very gratefi)I to the people and groups who give us money. Your generous help directly
allows us to keep our doors open and continue offering important services to those who need them
most. To our local community, thank you for welcoming us with open arnis and making our cafe a
true centre for connecting, sharing, and caring for one another.
A big success this past year, and something we are very proud of, h&s been our Community larder.
With the kind donations we receive and the small fees we ask for from the larder, we have proudly
given out over 18,000 food and hygiene items. This amazing effort makes sure that important things
like food and toiletries get to those who need them most. and it also plays a big part in helping us
waste less good food.
Since we first opened our doors, we have been happy to serve over 92,000 meals to people in the
ommunity who are having a tough time. This number isn't just a statistic. it's a powerfijl reminder
of th¢ r¢al, positive impact we are making, one meal at a time. helping to ease hunger and provide
comfort.
Looking ahead, I'm especially happy to tell you about our new mobile meals service. which we just
started. This new idea lets us bring healthy, wann meals right to the homes of people who find it
hard to get out and about on their own. This helps us reach and supp)rt even more people who are
most in need, making sure they don't miss out on a good meaj.
Thank you again for always supporting us. Your supp)rt means the world to us. Together, we are
truly building a stronger, kinder, and more supportive community for everyone.

Flnanclal Revfiew

The surplus for the year was £4,115 (Pl. _ £2.480).
Reserves Policy
The Fed Up Cafe received signifjcant wnding from outside agfflcies during this time perii)d. This
meant that at the end of the financial year we had financial reserves to be able to uphold our resrves
policy.
Plans for the Future
Moving forward, we will keep building on the services that have always been al the heart of what
we do and what our community relies on. This includes our cafe, which has always been free to use
for everyone, our vital comtnunity lard￿, and our promising new mobile meals service.
We are committed to continuing to be a place that not only provides food and comfort but also helps
people get back into work. We do this whether thafs through offering valuable volunteering
opportunities with ￿8, where p￿Iple can gain new skills and confidence, or by using our
employabilty hub, which offers practical support and guidance to help individuals find jobs. We are
excited to keep growing and helping our community in all these important ways, always looking for
new opportunities to rnake a positive diference.
