Summary of the main achievements of We have had the OFPO￿nty to provide exhibth'on space and support to 22 the charity during the financial period drfferent artists trthen July 2023 and June 2024. 19 of these artists were first time exhibitors. We were unable to organise the usual amount of exhibrtions due to commitments of the board who take on the role of managing and mentoring ￿tISts arKI makers. OF the 22 artists we prowded mentorship and guidance to all but offered formal mentcKship to 4 new exht)ilcKs by way of guidan￿ and support,in parbcular from Gordon Hughes. Gordon is a board member with extenswe knowledge of exhibition ￿jrat￿n. We had a suggested donation of £200 for our main exhibibon space in Ocean Terminal, however this year we have removed this suggestion ensLfiThJ all SPa￿S are completely free to Use. allowng anyone the Opp￿Lunty to show their work. The amount we have in the bank allows for this. Ail trustees ¢)ffer their lime for free and there are no stsffing costs. Wrthin this time pericd we exhibited a rnix of bcal artists. The main split was 12 artists exhIb￿ng in our Ocean terminal space, 8 in our Fort Kinnaird space and the remainder in Glasgow.. We have offered a mrx of exhibits frcffl phOtogra￿Y to painting and sculpture. We again offered events in collabcion the Lerlh Collective CIC where by their atists did a eollaborative exhIb￿On showing their work in our Edinburgh Fort loeation. We also offer spaee for free to Companies such as Leith Festival who held a promotional event We have leases for a units in Ocean Temiinal, Fort Kinnaird and Glasgow Fort. Each of these are free or affordable rent as sponsored by the shopping centres and no cost to the charity alk)wing our exhibf(ors the OPPOt1unty to sell their worf( in a Fxofessional retail environment. The Leith Collective as a Con¥nunity Interest Company manage the sales for us and cover all utility bills. We have not managed the arn￿nI of social media we would like in this time pericd. We are reviewtNJ our social media ouljets and loojing ast how we can prcnote artists in a more productive way. We are still in discussions to cDllaborate with the Lef(h Collective with them hosting us on their new. upccxning website. We have been delighted lo welcome all our exhibitors and rt has been a good mix of new local talent and local ccmmunty groups. We feel this has brought new experiences to our visitors both locally and inlemational visitors coming from the Royal yacht Britannia. We are still unable to keep an accurate rec4)rd of visilor numbers as the space remains open and unmanned. FUNDING REVIEW Our key fijnding had ncfftally been from d(￿ationS from artists to exhibit as well as from Ic¢al ccynpanies and charity tin donations frcln exhibition openings. We chose this year to not charge any exhibitors for space as we had fvnds available to allow this. This enabled more people to exhibrt as they did not need to wory ab￿t costs. Our income for this pericmy was interest on our bank account We do not have large fvnds and finished 202212023 wrth a balan￿ of £561.05 Financial review
