Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the advancement of health','the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'

We provide high quality, affordable, general counselling especially for people in underprivileged areas. We see adults and young peopele from the city of Dundee and surrounding areas, providing individual counselling sessions face-to- face, online, and by telephone. We aim to have short waiting times to deliver effective counselling as promptly as possible to reduce the likelihood of clients going into a downward spiral of further social and psychological difficulties. All Clients self-refer to the service and we carry out intake assessments to make sure that what we can offer is appropriate for them. We offer a non-judgmental safe space where all clients can be helped towards better mental health. We use an Integrative/Pluralistic method of counselling, tailoring the sessions to meet the individual client’s needs.

Objectives: The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objectives are: For the advancement of health by provision of holistic care and support to people of all ages with mental health difficulties or emotional distress, within a Christian ethos, but open to all people of all faiths or not, in furtherance of this by. The promotion and provision of services offering the benefits of an Integrative model of Counselling. Training and Equipping workshops and classes. Working in partnership with other bodies to achieve the purposes.
