**What the charity does:** 5.1	Promoting and engaging in finescale railway modelling, primarily at a scale of 4mm to the foot to P4 standards 5,2	Welcoming any member of the public who has an interest and wants to be part of the Group  5.3	Being based at a clubroom where we keep our layout(s), meeting regularly to work on them and fostering a supportive, constructive and enjoyable environment that contributes to the health and wellbeing of our members  5.4	Encouraging and enthusing members to progress their own personal projects through a collaborative and supportive approach 5.5	Offering practical development opportunities through learning by doing skills transfer and arranging skills workshops that enhance members’ capability to build and operate finescale model railways 5.6	Enhancing members’ knowledge of both past and present prototype railways through lectures and visits 5.7	Applying historical research, photographic evidence and ordnance survey mapping to support the accurate representation.

**Objectives:** 4.1 To provide recreational facilities and activities related to finescale railway modelling with the object of improving the conditions of life for our members.  4.2 To advance education among members both of the prototype railways and in the skills required for finescale railway modelling and to raise awareness among interested members of the public that these skills are attainable.  4.3 To widen the appreciation of our railway heritage and of the art and science of finescale railway modelling both among our members and for wider public benefit.
