The band started off the year with thgir annual jUn￿r h'smng and Drumming Solo compets'lion held in January in
Pillochry High School. The BBC film uew filmed all day l¢)ng and we were deli9hte¢J that quite a bil of rt wo$
$hown on the Friday"One Show.. They were amazed 81 the am￿nI ofyoung8lers playing pipes and drums.
The Grade 3 an¢J Grade 4 bands had a very $ucce$slul year winning trophies al the British, UK, Scottish.
European and Vvortd Champiorbships and many mI￿r competstions. The Grade 3 band wgr• $0 $uc¢•$sful. they
have been prornoled to Grade 2.
Tho band played at dflerent events during the year ￿dUd￿n9 The Prflochry New Year Slre•t Paty. The Scottish
Game Fair. Beal Retreats at tho BntannB and the National Mus•Jm of ScOt￿nd. Gala day$. Highland Gamgs
and the Rernembrance Day Parade.
Our tuition programme has brou9hl on youn9 ty.perg and drummers and wè were de1￿hled lo get th8m kttted out
and playing wrth thè band al engagements and Highland Nigh1$. We held 15 Highland Nighls during the soason
in Ihe Prflo¢hry Retrealion Ground entertaining hundreds of tOUWi5ts.

It 1$ the pdicy of th¢ ¢h¥ity that unreslricled furbd5 whith have not been de$KJn¥led for a specffic use should be
maintained al g level equivalent lo behveen three and srx month's experhdilure. The trustees consi¢Jer that
reserves al this level will ensure that. in ihe event ol a sHJnfficant drop in ftjndirw, Ihey will be able to conlinue the
harity'5 currenl activrties while consideration is given lo way5 in whKh addrtional fvnds may be rais￿. This level
of reserves has been maintained throughout the year.
The trustees have assessed Ihe major risks to whth the thaity is exposed, and are sattsfied that $yslems are in
place to mitigate exposure to the major risks.
