**What the charity does:** In line with our charitable purposes, our primary activity is the operation of Alive 107.3, a wholly voluntary community radio station broadcasting under an OFCOM licence to the residents of Dumfries and the surrounding area, both on FM and online. To advance education, we have established a training academy. This key initiative delivers on our educational objectives by offering practical training and work experience in all aspects of radio broadcasting, from on-air presentation to technical production. This equips participants with valuable skills for personal and professional development.   Our diverse team of semi-professional, and amateur presenters creates a rich variety of programming. This provides an essential outlet for local artists and musicians, celebrating the unique culture and heritage of our community
